At Hamilton Auto Centre, we are committed to providing high-quality vehicle servicing, repairs, inspections, and maintenance. To ensure transparency and clarity for our customers, please review the following service terms and conditions.

Service Pricing & Oil Allowances

Our advertised service packages include up to 5 litres of premium-quality engine oil. Vehicles requiring additional oil capacity, specialised lubricants, performance-grade oils, or manufacturer-specific products may incur additional charges.

We use quality aftermarket filters and components that meet or exceed manufacturer specifications to help maintain vehicle reliability and warranty requirements.

Vehicle Type Surcharges

Service pricing is based on standard passenger vehicles. Additional charges may apply for vehicles that require specialised parts, extended labour, or manufacturer-specific servicing requirements, including:

• Diesel vehicles

• 4WD and AWD vehicles

• European vehicles

• Performance vehicles

• Commercial vehicles

Where Genuine OEM parts are requested or required by manufacturer specifications, these parts will be supplied at an additional cost.

Vehicle Condition

Vehicles presenting excessive dirt, pet hair, stains, mould, or contamination may require additional cleaning and preparation before servicing.

In these cases, additional cleaning charges may apply. Customers will be informed of any additional costs before work commences.

Inspection Limitations

Vehicle inspections and safety checks are conducted on components that are reasonably accessible at the time of service.

Certain components may not be visible or accessible without additional disassembly. Any faults identified that require further investigation may be subject to additional diagnostic labour charges.

Diagnostic Services

Diagnostic scans included in selected service packages provide fault code reporting and system health checks using professional diagnostic equipment.

Additional electrical testing, advanced fault tracing, or specialised diagnostic procedures beyond the standard report may attract additional workshop charges.

Road Testing

Where included in the selected service package, pre-service and post-service road tests are carried out by qualified technicians to assess vehicle performance, steering, braking, handling, and overall safety.

These tests help identify issues that may not be visible during a stationary inspection.

Vehicle Grooming Services

Vehicle grooming services included in selected packages are designed as workshop maintenance cleans and may include:

• Exterior wash and dry

• Interior vacuum

• Dashboard cleaning

• Interior window cleaning

• Tyre shine

Specialised detailing services such as paint correction, cut and polish, steam cleaning, stain removal, and detailing packages are available separately upon request.

Workshop Liability

Hamilton Auto Centre takes every reasonable precaution while servicing your vehicle. However, we cannot be held responsible for failures caused by pre-existing wear, deterioration, brittle plastics, aged clips, corrosion, paint defects, or previously damaged components that may become apparent during normal servicing, diagnostic testing, or cleaning processes.

Recommended Service Intervals

To maintain vehicle safety, reliability, and performance, we recommend servicing your vehicle every:

• 10,000 kilometres, or

• 12 months

whichever occurs first.

Regular servicing helps identify wear and maintenance requirements early, reducing the likelihood of costly repairs and unexpected breakdowns.

Additional Work

Should additional repairs, maintenance, or parts replacement be required during servicing, our team will contact you for approval before proceeding whenever practical.
